Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Hot Honey to drizzle
Method
- Evenly slice 2 medium sweet potatoes.
- In a small bowl, combine the cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Over medium heat, add the unsalted butter to a pan, mixing in the spices, to a low simmer.
- Once thoroughly melted and combined, take the pan off the heat.
- Apply aluminum foil over an air fryer tray, and transfer the sweet potato slices to it.
- Glaze the sweet potato slices with the mixture on both sides.
- Place the tray in the air fryer, with the heat at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, until slightly tender.
- Remove the tray from the air fryer and smash the slices flat with a fork or the bottom of a glass cup.
- Reinsert the tray in the air fryer for 3 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit until crispy.
- Remove the tray from the air fryer and drizzle with Hot Honey.
- Enjoy!
