Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Hot Honey to drizzle

Method

  1. Evenly slice 2 medium sweet potatoes.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Over medium heat, add the unsalted butter to a pan, mixing in the spices, to a low simmer.
  4. Once thoroughly melted and combined, take the pan off the heat.
  5. Apply aluminum foil over an air fryer tray, and transfer the sweet potato slices to it.
  6. Glaze the sweet potato slices with the mixture on both sides.
  7. Place the tray in the air fryer, with the heat at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, until slightly tender.
  8. Remove the tray from the air fryer and smash the slices flat with a fork or the bottom of a glass cup.
  9. Reinsert the tray in the air fryer for 3 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit until crispy.
  10. Remove the tray from the air fryer and drizzle with Hot Honey.
  11. Enjoy!
